Focus on the Positive...but Develop from the Negatives

It's amazing how planning a wedding can bring out the controlling people, not just giving opinions for how you should do something, no, all but demanding it be their way. People who should have no say in things, those who have already had their wedding, yet they try to change crucial aspects of yours after they have been set: the DJ, favors, cake, flowers, even the colors!  And anything they can't change, they complain about or tell you how you should have done it, like hiring a photographer or even the way in which you are getting the planning done and whom with. Let's face it, I am an artist, and even I know the favors and colors really don't even matter to your guests, half won't even notice. So, why do people feel the need to fret they aren't being done right?  Why do they care about a wedding not theirs?  If I had the answer, it would remove a lot of stress!
