Focus on the Positive...but Develop from the Negatives

You can always tell what type of person somebody really is, especially their true relationship with you, when a life changing event of either immeasurable happiness or great loss occurs.  Be it bright or dark, times like this shows one's true colors by whether or not they express words of sorrow for your grief and congratulate your joy – or if they fail to, be it in person, with a call, in a message, or with a social media post/like/comment; especially if you are one who always shares in these moments with this person. So remember the ones who care and drop the ones who are self-absorbed, too proud or too busy to take a few minutes for you. If they don't talk or interact with you now at this time in your life, they never will. And, that speaks volumes about them, not you.
